It has been a while...

It has been really busy since October 1st so it has been a while since I have posted. I have alot of catching up to do. I thought that I would start with one of our Senior Reps for this year, her name is Courtney and she was great. We had a great day of shooting and just hanging out and having fun even though it did end up getting a little chilly. I hope you enjoy a sampling of her pictures in the slideshow. We had a great time hanging out and spending time with this couple and their wonderful daughter. I am very excited for these two because they will be getting married in a week. What a great time before the wedding just to spend time together and having that time captured on camera. I wanted to share a few of the images that shows the affection this family has for each other.

Hooray!!!! Our new site is totally up!!

Our new site is totally up and everything is functioning. The photo gallery is visible now too. Sorry for the delay this week but everything is working fine now. I hope that you take the time to look around and since you ended up here you must be. In my excitement I just wanted to share a few pictures of a great group of cheerleaders that we had the privilege to photograph last week.

They were a great bunch of girls and we enjoyed getting to spend time with them. We would lilke to thank Karen and Joanna for giving us that opportunity.

Still working....

I am still working on getting our client gallery up and running. Please be patient it should only be a couple of more days. I wanted to include a picture since we are photographers. This is a bridal of a wedding that we did this past June. Michal was a beautiful bride and great to work with and the wedding was beautiful.

It was definitely a beautiful day. Congratulations Michal and Scott.

Labor Day Weekend and the New Website

We have a new website (finally) so please take time to look around. Some you may be able to see it and some others may not. It is still transitioning right now with my server so there have been some problems with the Client/Events gallery but hopefully these should resolve within the next 48 hours or so.

On Labor Day weekend my family and I cooked Brunswick Stew oncthat saturday at my cousin's house. My Uncle Thomas taught us all of the precise methods of Mr. Luke Young's Stew recipe (since he learned directly from Mr. Luke Young himself). This is a very popular recipe in this area and nobody can do it like my Uncle Thomas. Just a funny little story to that, when I was younger I wouldn't eat it if they called it Brunswick Stew but I would eat it if they called it Corn Soup. LOL go figure.

We had a great time, although it was very hot. It was a laid back enjoyable day and a great time spent with family. It is a shame that we are always too busy to spend more time with our families and times like that are really the most precious and I realize that more and more since my Daddy died. We are always too busy to do that just spend time together. Enjoy your family and spend time with them. Those are cherished memories and priceless moments.

It's time for football!!!

Well Thursday night Trion and Chattooga had their pre-season scrimmage at Finley Stadium. Trion started the night off playing a new school from the Ringgold area called Heritage High School at 6:00 and Chattooga had the following time slot at 7:30 against Northwest Whitfield. Of course Craig and I were their snapping pictures of the boys. I was a nervous wreck and didn't calm down until half time during the Trion/Heritage game. I met alot of new friends that were there shooting action shots as well from the Chattanooga area. Thanks to Stump on Sports for having both teams there. The air was filled with excitement as you can see in the first picture above as a few of my friends were awaiting the Chattooga game to start and the boys seemed to be excited as well. It was also great to see my friend Rachel there with her husband. Her son played for Trion last year. Yes, it is my blog so of course if I have a great picture of my son (#81 above) I want everyone to see it. Just a perk of having your own blog I guess. hehe I just want to wish both teams good luck this Friday as Trion travels to Armuchee to play the Indians and Chattooga will be playing Darlington at the Little Big Horn.

Just a note for Trion's parents. I am taking orders for the photobooks that will contain pictures of your player from the season and can also put the Trion Facts articles in there as well. If you pre order within the next 2 weeks you will save $50.00 off of the price.

Well you can see that we are still changing. We now have a new customized logo, blog header and soon to release our new web site. Check back often to see the changes.

New Blog New Changes

There will be alot of things changing at Extreme Photoz during the next few months. As you can see if you are reading this, we have a new blog. We also have a new website in the works and there are alot of exciting opportunities ahead. Check us out often to see all of the exciting happenings. We also now have a myspace page for Extreme Photoz. Check us out and get added to our friends list. I hope the summer is going well for you and I also hope that I can keep this as interesting as my friend Rachel does her blog. I literally stalk hers. LOL!
